The WheatCAP project is a community wheat breeders. Researchers, breeders and educators across 17 states, from USDA and universities compose the WheatCAP consortium.
All areas of expertise have a specific vocabulary. Practitioners of a specialty become so familiar with that vocabulary they often forget it has no meaning for most people. It is our goal in the article attached to this page to explain some of the vocabulary particular to the WheatCAP.
